Hospital Publications - Greater Baltimore Medical Center

From 2006 - 2011, Lisa Schwartz led GBMC’s internal and external communications and publications, building a library of award-winning community magazines, employee and medical staff newsletters, and Foundation and donor reports. Working with a team of talented writers and designers, Lisa spearheaded the transformation of the Towson, MD, hospital’s publications to elevate the healthcare organization’s mission through creative and inspiring storytelling and brand awareness and messaging while spotlighting the healthcare heroes on the front lines of patient care.

The hospital’s arsenal of noted publications included:

• Greater Living - An award-winning quarterly consumer/community magazine that included a section for the GBMC Foundation philanthropy focus in every issue

• Greater Living email newsletter - an electronic version of the print publication sent electronically to subscribers

• Greater Oncology Today - the bi-annual magazine for GBMC’s renowned Cancer Center

• MD Today - A quarterly publication focused on the work of the medical staff

• Greater Connections - An award-winning monthly employee newsletter

• RN Connections - A quarterly newsletter for nurses
